{"id":1092,"date":"2021-02-26T08:33:26","date_gmt":"2021-02-26T08:33:26","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.profitplus.rs\/?p=1092"},"modified":"2021-02-26T08:33:26","modified_gmt":"2021-02-26T08:33:26","slug":"passing-of-the-decree-on-setting-up-a-program-of-direct-grants-payable-from-the-budget-of-the-republic-of-serbia","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.profitplus.rs\/en\/passing-of-the-decree-on-setting-up-a-program-of-direct-grants-payable-from-the-budget-of-the-republic-of-serbia\/","title":{"rendered":"Passing of the Decree on Setting Up a Program of Direct Grants Payable From the Budget of the Republic of Serbia"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>On 12<sup>th<\/sup> February 2021 the Government of the Republic of Serbia published in the \u201cOfficial Journal of the Republic of Serbia\u201d no. 11\/2021 the <em>Decree Establishing the Program of Direct Grants Disbursed from the Budget of the Republic of Serbia to Economic Entities Within the Private Sector to Help Mitigate the Economic Effects of the COVID-19 Pandemic Caused by the Virus SARS-CoV-2<\/em>. The Decree came into effect on that same day.<\/p>\n<p>The right to receive a direct grant belongs to all economic entities (including large entities) that are not on the List of Public Fund Users, except for:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>banks;<\/li>\n<li>insurance and re-insurance companies;<\/li>\n<li>firms that manage voluntary retirement fund and pension schemes:<\/li>\n<li>providers of finance lease;<\/li>\n<li>both payment and electronic money institutions.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>The Decree does not provide for deferred payment of tax and contributions.<\/p>\n<p>Economic entities may expect to receive direct grants in the following sequence:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>in April 2021<\/strong> the amount calculated as the product of the number of full-time employees for February 2021 reduced by the number of employees terminated by the employer between 12<sup>th<\/sup> February and 31<sup>st<\/sup> March 2021 and the amount of one half of the basic minimum net salary for January 2021 (RSD 15,450.12);<\/li>\n<li><strong>In May 2021<\/strong> the amount calculated as the product of the number of full-time employees for March 2021 reduced by the number of employees terminated by the employer between 1<sup>st<\/sup> April 2021 and 30<sup>th<\/sup> April 2021 and the amount of one half of the basic minimum net salary for January 2021 (RSD 15,450.12);<\/li>\n<li><strong>In June 2021<\/strong> the amount calculated as the product of the number of full-time employees in the period between 1<sup>st<\/sup> April 2021 and 31<sup>st<\/sup> May 2021 reduced by the number of employees terminated by the employer between 1<sup>st<\/sup> May 2021 and 31<sup>st<\/sup> May 2021 and the equivalent of one half of the basic minimum net salary for January 2021 (RSD 15,450.12).<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Economic entities accept the payment by giving a separate statement each month through the portal of the Tax Administration.
